The roots of Silas Tate go all the way back to 1997 when our founding partner, Doug Whittenburg was asked by Sprint PCS to leave Ernst & Young and run the implementation of retail strategy and operations during the startup. Our predecessor company, Brooklyn Group, Inc. was formed as a business and IT consultancy focused on retail and distribution companies with their full compliment of technology and strategy needs. We had great client successes for 9 years and the firm was shuttered for personal reasons. Silas Tate was formed again with many of the same principles only enhanced with another 15 years of experience.
